The station, KYCY (1550 AM) in San Francisco, will be nicknamed KYOURadio and will play only listener-submitted content. Listeners will be able to upload their digital audio content to the KYOURadio.com website for screening and playback consideration. The radio station will also be available via a streaming audio feed from KYOURadio.com.AOL and XM Joining Forces for Online RadioApril 11, 2005 AOL and XM Satellite Radio are creating a free Internet radio service, which is designed to replace other Internet radio services currently offered by both companies. The free service will combine 130 radio stations on the AOL network with 20 stations from the XM network. An enhanced version with 70 XM stations will cost around $5 per month for users on the Internet, while AOL members will have access to it free of charge.
